Oh yeah peeps. This is a soul food spot! Inside fits the community with community art and a blackboard for menu. The food was crazy good and the mamma who takes the order is like a character from Harlem Knights. Love this spot. Fall through and tell them PK sent you.

I called it but they don't offer call in even if you prepay. So I went for $10 Tuesday and got chicken fried chicken, chicken wings and whole fried catfish plates for my family. The total was $33 and that included 3 Kool Aids and 3 dinner rolls. It was cooked to order and took about 15 minutes. It actually looks pretty cool inside but I took my food to go. The wings were mine and I really liked them, the fries were interesting. The Kool Aid was delicious and I tried some of the catfish and liked it. I'd definitely go back and recommend, this, Casserole and Glenn's Kitchen are 3 similar and good restaurants.

I have a new favorite place for a home cooked meal. Coming on various days helps to taste all the options. I haven't really found a dish that disappoints. The crazy Cajun catfish with shrimp and crawfish is at the top of my list.

Taste of Ways shows why you cannot sleep on the Good Eats in Duncanville. This is a solid meat and three that may be one of the only standing after seeing places like South Dallas Cafe close down post COVID. You will find a ton of entree options but the sides are the stars of the show in my opinion. Customer service is decent and prices are fair. Overall it is an establishment that breathes the essence of southern comfort and soul. Make sure that you order a cup of peach tea to wash it all down. You will not be disappointed.

I had the deep fried lamb chops (which is not something I had ever considered) and they were very tasty. One of the other patrons walked by as I was taking a bite and noted that "I got myself a good one" to which I nodded heartily and kept noshing. For sides I had cornbread, broccoli with cheese and sweet potatoes, which were all well executed. The place is very clean with fun art. Go get you some!
